Freeze-drying is a process that removes chilled water from the frozen material by directly converting chilled water to chilled water. The basis of the sublimation process is: the frozen sample absorbs heat to evaporate the water, the vacuum pump is used to discharge the steam to the condenser, the water vapor is removed from the sample surface, the water vapor is transferred and deposited on the condenser, and the freeze-drying process is absorbed by the sample. The heat balances the evaporating water and the heat is removed from the condenser to convert the water vapor to ice.
